What is the Most Effective Way to Communicate?

How many hours do you spend analyzing best practices for communications? If you’re like me, more hours than you want to admit. But the answer is really quite simple: meet them where they arewhether that’s on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Email.

For more personal conversations, call them. Or meet them for lunch, a cup o’ Joe, or frozen yogurt.

For the person who attends everything but you have no idea if they’re reading your stuff, make a point of speaking to them at an event.

Remember, email is the great catch-all of online communication. It has a purpose, but don’t overuse it.

And for those few who have clearly stated that they do not want anything to do with technology, don’t leave them out – send a hand-written note or snail mail letter.
