Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery

…so here goes.

When someone says everything you’ve been thinking succinctly, efficiently, professionally and in blog format, why recreate the wheel? I simply don’t have time anyway! So here’s the message: if you are late in your EOY planning, this post from The Emma Blog is exactly what you need.

Merry Christmas and have a wonderful holiday season….AFTER you tug on that ugly Christmas sweater, grab a warm cup of holiday brew, and settle down to  draft those last minute emails! Take a few minutes to scroll through the emails you’ve been receiving…there’s probably a plethora of good (and bad) examples right in your inbox. Draw ideas from eBlasts you’ve already received. Always, always, make it your own…unless you are literally linking to a site as I have…but you probably don’t have time to recreate the wheel right now either. So borrow good ideas from others and add your own twist to brand it for your organization.

And remember, it’s never too late to say thank you.
